$9.1M Loft Converted from Parking Garage Is Not Too Homey

New, 14 comments

This 3,740-square-foot loft in Chelsea was converted from the top floor of a former parking garage. But not too converted, as you can see. The aesthetic here is something along the lines of parking-garage-with-chairs. There's also a pretty striking skylight, though, and it does look like a good place to practice that piano. The apartment is asking $9.1 million, and comes with an "SUV size elevator to indoor parking" as well as exclusive roof rights and 7,500 buildable square feet of air rights.
