Usually, when a property re-lists, it's to improve the listing in some way to entice buyers with new photos or different staging. But the sprawling oceanfront mansion at 296 West End Avenue in Brighton Beach went a different routethe rare and unusual "let's showcase a hippie wedding with a yogi floating in a giant plastic ball" route. The listing also ditched the professional photos that showed the interior as a sleek, modern space. The new photos look like they were taken by a toddler, and instead of highlighting the pool and waterfront propertywhich is protected by waterfront storm barrier installed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineersthey show things like the technicolor bar. And of course, the 6,000-square-foot house still wants $7.999 million.
