The phase two residential towers at City PointCOOKFOX's enormous mixed-use development currently rising on Flatbush Avenue, in the (groan) "coolest city on the planet"—are nearing completion. Field Condition has some solid new shots of the buildings, and the facades are almost fully installed. Phase two of City Point is made up of a 19-story, 225,000-square-foot tower devoted to affordable housing and a 30-story, 335,000-square-foot market-rate tower. The affordable tower has a "unitized metal panel" exterior, while the market-rate tower has "unitized terra cotta panel system." Right next door, workers are putting the finishing touches on a podium, which will house 660,000 square feet of retail space, including Century 21 and an Alamo Drafthouse.
