Today Not the Best Day to Check Out One World Observatory

If, in all the midst of all the lead up and hype for the now-open One World Observatory, you wondered, yeah, but seriously, who's going to pay $32 to go look at some (admittedly, pretty amazing) views? the answer is: so many people. Really, just a whole lot of people, most of whom are probably pretty cranky right about now. Gothamist has photos of the line—really, more of a mob—outside One World Trade Center and one thing is clear: today was not a good day to check out the One World Observatory.
