Essex Crossing's 'Luxury' Bowling Alley Will Open in 2017

New, 3 comments

SHoP Architects' nine-story condo building at Essex Crossing will no longer have an outpost of the Andy Warhol Museum, but it will have a "luxury" bowling lane, so all hope for entertainment is not lost. The megaproject's developer announced today that Splitsville Luxury Lanes signed a 10-year lease for a 17,000-square-foot venue at Site One, which is the development's only condo building. It will have 10 lanes and serve food, including sushi and pizza. Since Bowlmor Lanes closed, Splitsville will be the only bowling alley below 14th Street when it opens in 2017.
