More Looks at Jean Nouvel's 'Gracefully Tapered' MoMA Tower

New, 31 comments

New York has been watching and waiting for the supertall MoMA Tower by starchitect Jean Nouvel for nearly a decade, and it's now finally underway, but don't expect a traditional sales launch. The development's full website is now live, and that usually means listings are live, too, but the marketing team tells us that they will not publicly be listing availability for the 139 condos. The website only says that one-bedrooms will start at $3 million, two-bedrooms at $7 million, and three-bedrooms at $8 million. For full and half-floor units, it says "pricing is available upon request," but the research team at BuzzBuzzHome previously uncovered pricing for 16 units, including a four-bedroom asking $50.9 million. So what doe the website offer if it doesn't have listings? New renderings and some flowery babble about the 1,050-foot-tall building's design.
