Oh Look, Hudson Yards Is Getting Another Residential Tower

New, 5 comments

Because Hudson Yards is the most popular place on the planet for developers, yet another residential project is coming to the west side neighborhood. The Real Deal reports that Lalezarian Properties filed plans for a 38-story, 250-unit apartment building at 515 West 36th Street between 10th and 11th avenues. Ismael Leyva is the architect of record, and the Department of Buildings filings indicate that there will be retail at street level and a dormitory on floors 4 to 8.

Amenities include bike parking, storage, and terraces on the 9th and 34th floors. Permits were issued this week, so construction is imminent.

Given that this is the third new project announced for Hudson Yards just this week, it might be time to update the area's development map.
