$300,000 Murray Hill Micro Unit is the 'Perfect Studio'

New, 12 comments

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

In a neighborhood chock-full of tiny apartments—Murray Hill has more microdwellings than any other area in New York City—it's a pretty bold for a listing to claim it is the "perfect studio." But lo, this sliver of a home on Second Avenue near East 35th Street does just that. At (approximately) 325 square feet, it's not that minuscule (though it still qualifies as a microdwelling), but the lone room certainly looks tight. It's on the market for $300,000, but unless you are looking for a baby pink bathroom, it needs some work. On the plus side, there is a shared backyard, and someday, the Second Avenue Subway will be super close.
