Karl Fischer to Plunk Another Building Down in Williamsburg

New, 2 comments

The sun has risen, the world continues to spin on its axis, and Karl Fischer is designing a new building that will replace a single-story brick warehouse in Williamsburg. NY YIMBY reports that the building is headed to 46 Cook Street, a good distance from the densest concentration of Fischer buildings south of McCarren Park. It will rise to 124 feet, twelve stories, and contain 13,900 square feet of commercial space, 6,800 square feet of medical offices, 33,902 square feet of residential space over 45 apartments, a community space, a garage for residents, and a commercial garage below ground. Developer Cheskie Weiss paid $8 million for the property in May.
