On Tuesday, the Stonewall Inn won a hard-fought battle for landmark designation. The West Village site has long been heralded as the birthplace of the modern Gay Rights movement, and with the Supreme Court's unprecedented ruling announced on Friday morning to legalize same-sex marriage nationwide, it has become the pooling location for those looking to celebrate the historic decision.
