Ever since plans for Zaha Hadid's space-age stack of High Line-adjacent condos were revealed two years ago, the development has been one of the most talked-about and closely watched projects in the city. After all, it is Hadid's first ever building in New York City. Renderings, floorplans, interiors, and pricing have all been teased, and now finally, the 11-story building is rising above the ground. Tectonic snapped a few photos of the site, which is being developed by Related Companies. There will be 39 condos, and sales were once reported to be launching in "early 2015," but that never happened.
Filings with the attorney general, however, have given a peek at pricing and floorplans. They'll start around $4.595 million for a two-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, and the most expensive apartment will be a 6,400-square-foot penthouse asking $35 million.
An early look at the interiors show very curvy, space-age structures.
