Designer and art writer Sue Hostetler and her husband Jon Diamond have finally sold their customized Alphabet City condo, which they built in 2009 and have been trying to get rid of since 2012. The couple built their home in the first four floors of a six-story townhouse at 238 East 4th Street, tapping the Novogratzes to design a penthouse on the upper two floors, which they subsequently sold for $5 million to Oscar Proust and Colleen Goujjane, owners of West Village restaurant One If By Land, Two If By Sea. The two units have since been listed together and separately, and Proust and Goujjane unloaded the penthouse in 2013. The buyer of the four-story unit is "light and interactive sculptor" Jen Lewin, who paid $7 million.
