Our semi-regular feature, Monday Mansion, examines the most interesting mega homes on the market in the far reaches of New York. Have a listing in mind that we're missing? Tell us about it. To the outer boroughs we go!
A very charming townhouse that's built out of what aren't quite cobblestones is looking for a new owner. Although the small semi-circular Forest Hills development that the townhouse is a part of is older, the for-sale property at 47 Burns Street has modern interiors, including an updated kitchen and a powder room with wallpaper fit for a boutique book store. It seems likely that the townhouse's current owners oversaw a lion's share of those overhauls; the townhouse last sold for $860,000 in 2013. Today, the three-bedroom digs with a backyard and terrace is asking $1.329 million.
