Boutique Condos Will Replace Warehouse Near the High Line

New, 2 comments

A tipster sent along some photos of the one-story warehouse at 455 West 19th Street, which now sports scaffolding and an outline of a rendering for a new building that's coming to the site. There were rumblings last year that the warehouse could be replaced by a boutique condo building after it sold to a developer known only as NYC Prince LLC for $22.5 million, and that indeed appears to be what's happening as plans have been filed for an 11-story building with nine residential units, and a little bit of commercial space. The site came with 27,692 buildable square feet, and the developer will be using all but 212 square feet of that, according to the permits. The architect of record is Cary Paik of Paik Architecture.
