Boaz Gilad's at it again with another pretty inoffensive and generally whatever Brooklyn development, although it didn't always look like the new condo building at 735-737 Bergen Street would end up that way. The first renderings for the new five-story structure between Underhill and Washington avenues in Prospect Heights promised a building that looked more at home in a film about a dystopian police state. But the folks over at Isaac and Stern switched things up with a grey brick facade accented by rusted metal that listings agent aptandlofts describes as "uniquely modern." Only four apartments in the two buildings are on the market now, but more studios to three-bedrooms, including duplexes, should arrive in the near future.
All of the apartments have herringbone oak floors, white wood-grain cabinets with brass (brass!) hardware, and appliances by Fisher & Paykel and Bosch. Only some of the apartments will have outdoor space.
