New, 23 comments

Tower One of the three-tower City Point development from BFC Partners, Washington Square Partners, and Acadia Realty Trust went from 50 percent affordable to 80 percent affordable last month after "the city came to us and asked us to do this," according to one of the developers. Now applications are open for those 200 affordable apartments (the building will have 250 units in total) with prices starting at $500/month for single people making between $18,515 and $24,200 annually. There are apartments available for households of various sizes and income levels all of which you can peruse on Housing Connect (pdf). The second City Point tower will be all market rate.
