252 East Fifty Seven, the 65-story condo tower being developed by World Wide Group and Rose Associates, has progressed past the 40th floor, Field Condition reports. Now that we can see the tower in real life, the concave slice that lends it its curviness doesn't look quite as prominent as it did in the renderings, which is not to say that it looks bad, necessarily. Once completed (next year, if all goes according to plan), the SOM-designed tower will contain 175 rental units on the lower floors and 93 condos on the upper floors.
