Extell Keeps Changing Height of Its Lower East Side Tower

New, 9 comments

Extell Development has filed an amendment with the Department of Buildings to increase the height of its planned 250 South Street tower (aka One Manhattan Square) from 68 stories to 72 stories, Bowery Boogie reports. The height was previously lowered to 68 stories from 80 stories. Prior to that it was reported to be 68 stories, then 71, then 56. Making decisions is hard. (If only they would change their mind about the name.) The plans still call for 1.1 million square-feet of residential space, but now with 815 apartments, up from 802.
