The Dorian Brings Even More Expensive Condos to Chelsea

New, 7 comments

Name/Location: The Dorian/221 West 17th Street
Developers: Delshah Capital
Architect: Rob Rogers
Interiors: Neal Beckstedt
Size: 10 stories, 14 apartments
Prices: Available units priced at $4.35M and $6.45M

The Dorian has maintained a low profile so far as luxury developments within a few blocks of the High Line go, especially given that the converted building's apartments won't come cheap. Word of the development arrived only in May, with news that the large luxury apartments—at an average of 2,857 square feet—would ask between $3 million and $10 million. Without fanfare, two of the building's 14 apartments have arrived on the market, accompanied by first interior renderings for the project and a full website launch. A 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom apartment on the ninth floor with a terrace is asking $6.45 million, and a 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom apartment on the fourth floor is asking $4.35 million.
