The block of Dean Street between Vanderbilt and Carlton avenues in Brooklyn, currently dominated by a huge construction fence wrapping around the Atlantic Yards Pacific Park site, is going to get a little less ugly this weekend. Ten local artists picked by Mike Perry, a local artist himself (who is one of the 10), will be painting murals along the fence, giving the neighbors a much nicer view. The artists will get to work at 5 a.m. this Saturday, August 15 and should unveil the completed pieces around 6 p.m. Here now, a preview of what they will create.
