Development south of Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights has yet to take off like development in the northern part of the neighborhood, but one of the first big new buildings is currently rising on Rogers Avenue. Situated between Crown and Carroll streets, the property at 267 Rogers Avenue used to hold a church. But that is long gone, and a five-story, 165-unit apartment building designed by Think Architecture and Design is taking the church's place. A Curbed operative sent a recent photo, and noted that the new building, which is now up to the third floor, is rising quickly.
