How does the old saying go? If you can't take the heat, get out of the apartment? Well, it's something like that for Ian Reisner, the gay hotelier who came under fire in April for hosting a controversial dinner in honor of the staunchly anti-gay marriage Texas Senator and Republican Presidential Contender Ted Cruz at one of the handful of apartments he owns at 230 Central Park South. While Reisner picked up the two-bedroom, four-bathroom apartment he just put on the market for $11.9 million after the fundraiser regular ol' dinner went down, its history of late (and its Central Park views) make it, at least, interesting. Reisner dropped $7.5 million on the apartment with a 1,000-square-foot terrace in May. According to TRD, Reisner and his partner have been flipping apartments in the Central Park South building since the 1990s.
