This Sculptural Montauk Beach House Frames Stunning Views

British king of minimalism, the architect John Pawson, has done it again, this time bringing his pared-down sensibility to a sculptural beach house in Montauk, New York. The two-story, rectilinear house is low-lying and oriented toward the Atlantic for prime views. Inside, simple wood floors and unadorned walls let the minimally partitioned spaces really shine. Though we'd love to see the place fully furnished for a sense of how one could really live in such a monastic environment, the bones are rather nice.
