Robert A.M. Stern's 30 Park Place Is Now Fully Sheathed

New, 39 comments

Construction photographer Tectonic got some shots of 30 Park Place, the Larry Silverstein-developed skyscraper that would have been Downtown's tallest residential tower if it wasn't for that meddling 70 Pine Street office-to-rental conversion. 30 Park Place, designed by Robert A.M. Stern, is chugging along, with windows installed up to the first setback (only nine of 82 floors remain), and appears to be on track for its targeted 2016 completion. When finished, the building will contain 157 condominium units and 185 hotel rooms.
