Rising Greenpoint Condo Gets Interior Renders, New Name

New, 4 comments

The look of this Greenpoint waterfront building's been reworked since it was first revealed in April, and a new batch of renderings posted by YIMBY shows off just how far its come. While the Eichner Architects-designed building—which will go by The Gibraltar—got an exterior upgrade, the new renderings are the first to show off the building's 14 condos. Although pricing for the condos is still off the table, developer Saddle Rock Equities' move to tap celebrity broker Ryan Serhant—who also sold Saddle Rock's aggressively hip Avenue D condos—suggests that the apartments will be pricey.

The 14 one- and two-bedroom condos will average 1,400 square feet each. Two condos on the sixth floor will have rooftop terraces. YIMBY points out that the interior renderings show off East River views, but the slew of new development coming to the neighborhood will probably change that in no time. The building also has eight ground-floor parking spots and bike parking, and is expected to be complete in 2016.
