Toll Brothers City Living is moving right along with its new condo development on West 17th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues. In mid-2014, the developer tapped architect Morris Adjmi to create a new ground-up 19-story, 55-unit building for the site at 55 West 17th Street. While construction is ongoing, 6sqft nabbed the first exterior rendering of the building. It shows a grey facade with square windows that look like they took a cue from 432 Park Avenue's. The apartments, though, will be much less expensive: it's rumored they'll start at $1.6 million and top out at $15 million.
The building will have four apartments on floors two through 12, and a mix of duplexes and full-floor residences on floors 13 through 19. The building will be topped by a duplex penthouse with a private terrace and swimming pool. Building amenities will include on-site parking and bike parking, a gym, a children's playroom, a rooftop swimming pool, and basement storage.
The building's teaser site provides the world's smallest rendering, too (↓)
