This prewar co-op apartment in Park Slope is located at 523 8th Street, less than a block from Prospect Park, and it's on the market for $910,000a price that seems pretty reasonable if one were to judge reasonableness by the opinions of Curbed commenters. Commenter modmother won this week's Pricespotter contest with a guess of $912,000 (if you're playing by Price Is Right rules, then catskill won with a $905,000 guess), but that doesn't mean modmother thinks it's worth that much: "It will be more money than it's worth because of Park Slope... if you use it as a one bedroom, it's not bad. I'd open up the kitchen side as one large room and the other half could be my bedroom/office/closets (because, hello - TWO closets????)." As expected, no one liked the layout, but the floors and low monthly costs were highlighted as positives.
