Four units have hit the open market in 189 Avenue C, the East Village rental building that announced it's going condo last month. They range from a studio asking $795K to a two-bedroom asking $1.41 million. (The other two are also studios, asking $805K and $865K.) There are 35 total units in the building, but it is not clear how many of the renters, if any, will be allowed to stay after their leases run out. The building was purchased last year by an LLC for $10.6 million.
