Jon Bon Jovi Snags $12.95 Million West Village Pad

New, 3 comments

Jon Bon Jovi has had quite the real estate journey in the past few years: After listing his gigantic Soho penthouse for a staggering $42 million in 2013—and getting no takers—the rocker cut the asking price not once, but twice. The palatial apartment finally sold earlier this year, and it looks like Bon Jovi took the spoils and grabbed another chunk of NYC real estate. The New York Observer reports that the Jersey native bought a four-bedroom apartment at 150 Charles Street for just under $12.95 million.

150 Charles has its own complicated history, and many of its units are currently on the market—according to the Observer, "the developer offered buyers the rare option of flipping their contracts, provided they get a ten percent cut of the profits." While not much is known about the apartment Bon Jovi bought beyond its size (ten rooms total, four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms), the building itself comes with some extra-swanky amenities: a 75-foot lap pool (pictured), along with 40,000 square feet (!) of private outdoor space—he may even be able to see his native Garden State from there.
