Staten Island House Offers a 'Resort Lifestyle' for $949,000

New, 23 comments

Located in Princes Bay on the South Shore of Staten Island, this 3,500-square-foot house was, according to the brokerbabble, "custom built with a resort lifestyle concept: to Explore, Entertain or simply Escape." It's not entire clear what that means, but the house does come with a huge 40-foot by 20-foot saltwater pool, a hot tub, cabana, and landscaped yard, all things that seem pretty resort-y. The main floor of the house features a sprawling living/dining area with a through-wall fireplace and French doors that open onto a deck, and the four bedrooms, including the master suite, are on the second floor. The lower level includes a guest apartment and a media room, and connects to the garage. So how much does this slice of the suburbs cost? It's listed at $949,000, and for something that includes a swimming pool that is larger than most Manhattan rentals, that seems like quite a steal.
