The last time we checked in with Columbia University Medical Center's Medical and Graduate Education Building, designed by Diller, Scofidio + Renfro, it was still in the early construction stages. But a lot of progress has been made since then, and as Field Condition notes, the building—which has a slightly wacky, zig-zagging facade—is now getting closer to completion. The building topped out late last year, curtain wall is being installed, and the "study cascade" is starting to take shape. It's expected to be completed sometime next year.
