Brooklyn's Rumored 1,000-Foot Tower Teased in New Video

New, 6 comments

JDS Development Group is on a roll with Instagram reveals this week. The 111 West 57th Street developer has taken to the social media platform to tease details about a forthcoming project; not their Midtown supertall, whose facade they revealed in a photo earlier this week, but their rumored 1,000-foot tower for Downtown Brooklyn. The video—which was first spotted by 6sqft and shows views out towards Manhattan and Queens from a staggering height—does two things: 1) All but verbally confirms that the the developer is indeed bringing a supertall tower to Brooklyn, as was speculated when they snatched up the landmarked Dimes Savings Bank (and its 300,000 square feet of development rights) in August, and 2) Shows that the building will be the first of its kind in in the borough. (But JDS does have a reputation for ignoring other rival developments in visual reveals.)

That view... 340 FAE/9 Dekalb coming soon. #340FAE #jdsconstruction #9dekalb #brooklyn
