Windsor Terrace Railroad With Charming Roof Deck Wants $729K

New, 12 comments

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

This Windsor Terrace apartment may not be the best place to live if you plan on having roommates: It's a railroad apartment with two "bedrooms"—and only one bathroom, which happens to be attached to the smaller of the two bedrooms. Things could get awkward, is all we're saying. But it could be perfect for a couple or a single person who doesn't mind a slightly wonky layout, especially because the co-op comes with a lovely roof deck, which overlooks Manhattan and even has in a built-in pergola. Other amenities include an in-unit washer-dryer, a renovated kitchen with a dishwasher, and "floor to ceiling built-in book-shelving and a custom-made bar." Worth it? You be the judge.
