A four-story office and warehouse building in Sunset Park, Brooklyn has sold just two weeks after it went on the market, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle reports.
The 24,000 square foot building is located at 5018-5024 Fourth Ave, not too far way from the Park that also bears the name of the neighborhood. A representative for the seller, told the Eagle that the property sold for a little over its asking amount of $7.5 million.
The pinkish building is relatively taller than most of the row houses that make up Fourth Avenue in Sunset Park. It's likely that the buyer, who is as yet unnamed, will convert the property into a residential or office building, the seller's representative told the Eagle. Congregation Imrei Yehudah is listed as the previous owner of the property.
UPDATE: One of our commenters pointed us to an interesting historic fact about the building. The structure was built in 1907, and first served as a Parkway Garage.
