First Looks Inside Dumbo's Record-Breaking Waterfront Condos

New, 25 comments

Alloy Development is keeping busy in Dumbo: Just a few months after its pricey townhouses on Pearl Street were completed, the developer, in collaboration with Monadnock Development, has launched two model units at One John Street—home to Brooklyn's priciest condo ever—that show off the schmancy condo building's interiors.

The condos sit within Brooklyn Bridge Park, on the north side of the Manhattan Bridge. But the development has proven to be far less controversial than the Pierhouse development at Pier 1, and pretty popular with buyers: it's now 86 percent sold, according to a spokesperson. The launch of two model units within the development may help goose sales for those remaining apartments, which range from a $4 million four-bedroom to a $7 million penthouse.

The models are located on the third floor of the building, and feature some of the stand-out elements of this development: double-islands in the kitchen (because who doesn't need an extra one?), high-end finishes, and—most importantly—unreal views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. Check 'em out below.
