New renders have been unveiled for the mini-megaproject rising next to the Hudson Yards development, known as Manhattan West, Dezeen reports. It's hard to compete with the high profile neighbors set to rise next door, but it seems like the glassy exteriors of Manhattan West are sure to stand out in their own right. Located between 32nd and 33rd Streets and Ninth and Tenth Avenues, the Brookfield Properties-developed project will feature five million square feet of space. This includes two new office buildings, and one residential building with 844 apartments, designed by SOM. The development also includes the renovation of a Brutalist building REX designed a glass facade for its exterior, and this building too will house offices when complete. And that's not the end of it. The project also includes a James Corner Field Operations-designed, landscaped public space.
