New York City just got blanketed 26.8 inches of snow (the second-highest snowfall ever!), prompting a travel ban that effectively shut down the city. But not everyone stayed inside cuddled up in their blankets: filmmaker Casey Niestat decided to have some fun by grabbing a few friends and skiing through the city's streets. It's not the first time he's done this, but watching a crew speed through a snowy Times Square with an American flag never really gets old. And although the ski crew encountered some cops, even NYPD's finest didn't spoil the fun, telling the skiers "Someone complained, so we're just going to act like we're talking to you."
