The residential conversion of the former Tootsie chocolate factory in Soho has been a long time in the making. But since DDG took over the project a 325 West Broadway, dubbed XOCO 325 (xoco being Catalan for Chocolate), it has really been moving along. One of the most interesting features is the custom cast iron screen. Thanks to the architecture blog A|N, we can see what it looked like in pieces before being installed.
The development, located between Canal and Grand streets, will have 21 units across its nine floors. Completion is expected this year.
