Things are moving along at One West End Avenue, the first condo building to rise as part of the Riverside Center megaproject. The building was just beginning its ascent when we checked in back in August, and in the five months since then, the luxury tower has started to look like an actual building. When all is said and done, the 42-story tower, designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, will have 246 apartments (which hit the market last year from $1.3 million). The smaller building houses the complex's affordable units, which spurred the "poor door" controversy way back when.
