Flatiron District's New Tallest Tower Takes Shape

New, 13 comments

When complete, 45 East 22nd Street will be the new tallest tower in the Flatiron District, and it's starting to look like its cantilevered self, as seen in photos posted by Tectonic. The 777-foot-tall (718 feet according to the new building permit) Kohn Pederson Fox-designed condominium building, developed by Coninuum Company, is being marketed as 65 stories (though permits only show 60 above ground floors). There will be 83 units (though 81 are indicated on the permit), from a one-bedroom for $2.5 million and a four-bedroom for $20.75 million to a penthouse that hasn't even hit the market yet.
