Fashion Designer Cynthia Rowley has quite the penchant for West Village properties. In addition to the three she already owns in the neighborhood, Rowley has now added a fourth to her roster with the purchase of a townhouse on Bleecker Street, the Observer reports.
Rowley spent $8.9 million on the 19-foot wide townhouse which stands three-stories tall and was built in 1901. The designer plans to use the ground floor for her company, and will rent out the upper floors after renovations.
Rowley has lived at a townhouse on Perry Street since 2004 along with her family. In addition to the Perry Street house, Rowley also owns a three-story property on Morton Street, which she purchased in 2014, and then converted into her offices. And finally, there’s a studio she owns, which is also on Bleecker Street—seems like she never wants to leave the neighborhood.
