15 Hudson Yards unveils the first listings for its pricey condos

The first Hudson Yards condos are now really, truly, officially on the market: Related Sales and Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group will bring the first listings for 15 Hudson Yards to the market today, with apartments ranging from $3.74 million to nearly $14 million.

As we previously reported, condos within the building come in five different configurations: Plaza Residences (one- to three-bedroom units with views of the megaproject’s public square and the High Line); Loft Residences (all two-bedroom apartments with high ceilings); Panorama Residences (one- to four-bedrooms with "spectacular unobstructed southern views"); Penthouses (three- and four-bedroom units, with only four to a floor, that have "oversized layouts"); and extra-fancy "upper penthouses."

The 15 listings coming online today are part of those first four types of apartments, with the cheapest being a 1,571-square-foot Plaza Residence on the 25th floor. The most expensive is an 84th-floor penthouse covering 3,385 square feet, "with dramatic views of the skyline and Hudson River," that’s asking $13.845 million. No word yet on pricing for the upper penthouses (which will take over the four "lobes" at the top of the building), but we’re guessing they’ll be accordingly expensive.

The building was designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Rockwell Group, and one way they’ve distinguished the apartments further is by offering different finishes in two color schemes ("tonal" or "contrast"). The building will also come with a plethora of over-the-top amenities, including several common spaces for residents, a 75-foot swimming pool, a private spa and fitness center, and private dining rooms.

Occupancy is expected sometime in 2018. But for now, take a peek at the floorplans for the now-available units:
