Murphy beds are often reserved for incredibly tiny spaces where individual objects are fighting for what little square footage space is available within an apartment, so it’s quite interesting that this one-bedroom co-op in Nomad has opted for not one but two Murphy beds despite having what appears to be a decent amount of space.
The pre-war apartment has an interesting configuration. The living crams a closet, shelves, storage, and those two aforementioned Murphy beds into its layout while the lovely eat-in kitchen sits nearby. The bedroom isn’t huge but is manageable and comes with a generous closet of its own. Nine-foot ceilings, wood floors, crown moldings, and custom lighting complete the apartment. It’s also nice that Madison Square Park is just a block away.
