A recently renovated apartment in a family-friendly neighborhood

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

Ditmas Park is the place to go for stunning prewar houses, but Park Slope is a treasure trove of cute apartments asking less than $1 million. Example: this recently-renovated two-bedroom on Sixth Avenue between 8th and 9th streets. The two-bedroom apartment is sunny, with a window in every room including a delightful bay window in the living area. Although the apartment’s two fireplaces are just decorative, the space makes makes up for it with its charming pocket doors and lovely wood floors.

The apartment’s bathroom has been recently renovated to include a vanity with a marble countertop, and the kitchen has followed suit. The apartment lets on to a shared roof deck with a hammock. The apartment is asking $810,000 this go-around, $149,000 more than it sold for in 2013.
