The house has gotten a series of price chops, suggesting that the disgraced TV host is looking to make a quick break

Update: As of January 5, Billy Bush's townhouse has sold: According to the Wall Street Journal, the huge Chelsea house found a buyer, though who that person is and how much they paid for the house was not revealed. The home was last listed for $8.25 million.

It was less than a year ago that television personality Billy Bush purchased a sprawling Chelsea townhouse as he prepared for his new role as host of the Today Show. After losing that gig thanks to a rather repugnant tape involving Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump (you know the story, we're not going to rehash it), the shamed TV host has put the townhouse back on the marketreports Page Six. Bush had plans to do a two-year gut renovation and redesign the five-bedroom, six-bathroom home. (Looks like that will be a project for the next owner, though.)

According to the Real Deal, the home—which is listed as being owned by JLM Trust, which is allegedly affiliated with the Bush clan—has actually been on the market since April. Bush, through the trust, purchased the home around December 2015 for roughly $8.8 million, and the 7,248-square-foot space was listed back in April for $8.9 million. In recent days, though, it's gotten a series of price chops—first to $8.5 million, then to $8.25 million, suggesting that the disgraced TV host is looking to make a quick break.

Most of the listing photos are renderings, suggesting the home needs a lot of work, but among its features are 22-foot ceilings in the parlor room, an excavated cellar with potential for conversion into a gym or an in-home theater, and a stunning roof deck with jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen.
