The listing calls this junior one bedroom "artsy"—and it is, at the very least, unique. It's in the post-war co-op at 205 Third Avenue, also known as the Gramercy Park Towers. A renovation aimed to make the apartment as flexible as possible, helped by the addition of sliding dividers. Those dividers, situated along the 34-foot living room, can be moved around to section off a den and office space. When they’re open, it creates a larger, open space that leads to the bedroom.
It’s a little hard to get the layout down without a floorplan, but it looks like the bedroom is separated from the makeshift office/den by a half wall. And each space within the apartment is distinguished by a different color: yellow and purple in the living and dining area, green for the den/office space, blue and red for the bedroom. (The kitchen is less exciting, lined with white tiles.) Although the corner bedroom is oddly set up, the listing promises lots of light from its two windows as well as a walk-in closet.
Other details throughout the pad include moldings, new sliding closet doors, stainless steel framing and custom cabinetry in the kitchen. The listing promises it’s "move-in ready" but a buyer may be tempted to figure out a new paint scheme before they settle in.
Maintenance on the $900,000 apartment is $1,028 a month. In exchange, you’re getting amenities like a 24-hour doorman, concierge, fitness center, Zen garden, roof-deck, on-site parking and bike storage.
