Spacious Midtown co-op in a landmarked building seeks $895K

The one-bedroom pad overlooks the gardens of the Rockefeller Apartments

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

It may only measure 900 square feet, but this Midtown co-op appears downright spacious in its listing pictures. Maybe its the apartment’s smart layout, with a dining nook that could double as a second bedroom, or the living area’s floor-to-ceiling window that makes the apartment look borderline palatial (we kid, but this is New York City after all). Whatever it is, the prewar pad at 24 West 55th Street, in the landmarked Rockefeller Apartments, also comes with an updated kitchen and bathroom, and herringbone floors that make its $895,000 price tag feel like a steal.

(Whoops: maintenance runs a pesky $2,466/month.)
