What/Where: 1BR/1BA co-op in East Village

Square Footage: 1,000

Common Charges/Taxes: $650

A sunny one-bedroom apartment within one of the East Village’s prewar co-op buildings carries an open layout across most of its 1,000 square feet of space. The living room’s huge decorative fireplace is easily the focal point of the room but there are also oversized windows, original hardwood floors, and ceilings that soar up to 10 feet high.

From what can be made of the kitchen photo, it’s not incredibly big and the appliances aren’t shown, but judging from the floor plan, the space is fair enough to come up a decent meal. Other features include exposed brick, substantially-sized bedroom, and the oh-so-desirable amenity of natural light. So given the size and location, how much do you think this apartment is going for?
