As South Williamsburg continues to be populated by pricey condos, the newest development to join that list is the one at 170 South 1st Street, which just launched sales. The five-story building features all of seven apartments that come in three-bedroom and four-bedroom variants.
Only four apartments have come on the market so far, and the cheapest among them is a three-bedroom unit that spans 1,315 square feet and is asking $1.985 million. The priciest is a four-bedroom spanning 2,001-square feet and asking $3.475 million.
Designed by ND Architecture and Design, all seven apartments here come with outdoor space in varying sizes. The ones on the ground floor will have private backyards, and the unit on the top will have its own roof terrace.
The architects were inspired by the neighborhood’s industrial past (of course) in designing some of the interior details including the lobby and the oversized windows in the apartments. The units here are fitted with stainless steel appliances from Bosch and Lierbherr, concrete grey caesarstone countertops in the kitchen, walk-in closets in some of the master bedrooms, and a deep soaking Kohler tub in the master bath. All of the apartments have washers and dryers in-unit as well.
Developed by The Iconic Group, the project was first announced in 2014. This particular condo is less than a block away from ODA New York’s 32-unit development at 190 South 1st Street. MNS Real Estate is handling sales and marketing for 170 South 1st Street.
