Astoria’s development boom continues with this new condo building. Named BLVD, the low-rise structure has just 11 units that claim to offer “affordable luxury,” meaning that there’s a chance to snag a one- or even two-bedroom for under $1 million.

A one-bedroom that’s currently listed offers 601 square feet of space while a two-bedroom measures in at 867 square feet. The apartments are decorated with nine-foot ceilings and white oak flooring, while offering contemporary kitchens equipped with appliances from brands like Fisher & Paykel and Bosch. Even the stylish bathrooms have top-notch finishes from Toto and Kohler, along with ceramic tiles for a classy finish. All of the apartments conveniently come with a washer/dryer unit.

The developer seems to value a sense of community, aiming to bring residents together through its many common rooms. There is both an upper entertaining lounge and a lower-level bar area, as well as a common roof deck, children’s playroom, and fitness center. Bike storage, parking spaces, and a 15-year 421-a tax abatement are also part of the deal.
